Emerson wins CIRC poster prize

Emerson, his (old!) poster and his prize: a fancy UofR coffee mug.

Emerson won 3rd place at the annual Center For Integrated Research Computing (CIRC) poster session. The poster session is a fun way for all CIRC users across the University to showcase their work to a diverse crowd, from astrophysics to biology.  Nice job, Emerson!

Christian graduated

This week marks a big milestone for the Larracuente Lab. Our first undergraduate, Christian Silva, has left the nest. Christian pioneered firefly work in the lab and will be sorely missed. He’s off to UC Davis, where he will start his graduate career in plant biology this fall. Good luck, Christian!
