Our annual Move-out Cleanout is underway! Bright yellow boxes have been placed out in all residential areas of campus to collect clothing and shoes. As you finish up those final papers, projects and exams and start packing up to head out, remember we can take any unwanted clothing that you would rather not take with you. They will be donated to people in need by Planet Aid.
We are hopeful that next year the Dump and Run program will be back and that our Move-out Cleanout can be back in its full form to collect other items as well. But this year, you can donate unwanted non-perishable food to the UR Food Pantry. Cinder blocks and any unwanted electronics can be brought to the Sage loading dock labeled “RECYCLE”, just be sure to remove your personal data first. Also check out the Nike Reuse a Shoe program for sneakers, our ink cartridge and battery recycling programs.
