Here is a list of things that you can repurpose and can also make your life easier:
- Use a staple remover to open a key chain and add a new key.
- Use toilet paper roll or two to hold wrapping paper.
- Use a hanging shoe rack to store items in your locker, hang it on the door.
- Put an old stocking on the end of your vacuum hose to find a small item like an earing.
- Hide your money in an old lip balm or similar container when traveling.
Reusing things instead of throwing things away is cheaper and ecological.Before you throw away those used cans, or anything else for that matter, check to see if you can reuse it somehow.
Here are some interesting tips I want to share:
Carrier bags and twist ties. Carrier bags can be reused in the shops or as bin bags around the house. Paper bags make useful wrapping paper and twist ties can be used to secure loose items together, such as computer wires.
Newspaper, cardboard and bubble wrap Make useful packing material when moving house or to store items.
Build a Compost Bin You can reuse many waste items, such as eggshells and old tea bags, using a compost bin. This waste then degrades and turns into compost that can be used to help your garden grow.
