Earth Day Festivities – Out and About in Rochester

Earth Day is an annual event that takes place every year on April 22, to help celebrate and support our environment. Each year there are many events held in and around Rochster with fun filled activites, and this year is no different. Check out some of the events below that are happening which will surely prove to be both fun and rewarding.

EARTH DAY, EARTH DAY VIGIL

On the Pedestrian Bridge at High Falls

Please join the Rochester Zen Center on Earth Day, April 22, to help raise awareness that the Genessee River is one of the most polluted bodies of water in the United States. We will demonstrate in silence (but you don’t have to practice  meditation in order to help) Because Sometimes Silence Speaks Louder Than Words.
