Did you miss out on UR’s annual collection event this past October where we collected 34,851 lbs of electronics? Well, here is another opportunity happening this weekend in Rochester for you to round up your items and bring them to be safely recycled. Just like our annual event, it is free to participate. Everyone in the community is invited and not only will the planet benefit, but so will two great local organizations.
Our electronics recycling partner, Sunnking is holding the event in conjunction with Foodlink this Saturday from 9 am until 2 pm. The event will be held at Foodlink’s 936 Exchange Street location in Rochester. Many different types of items will be accepted including computers, monitors, cell phones, TV’s, and circuit boards.
