Clay’s Corner

Judy ClayFolks keeping up with the challenges of protecting our environment know exactly how important the role of maintaining/repairing/replacing parts of our infrastructure are. Precious resources are wasted, or misused when we don’t do our part to keep our earth running like a well-oiled machine (yes, that analogy is intended to be ironic). Recently our Central Utilities crew found a leak in a pipe that had to be repaired. The 3″ pipe was 9ft. below ground and another leak was found. A wise decision was made to replace an additional 80 ft. of ‘tired’ pipe. This proactive approach coupled with using the latest in technology allowed the job to be fully completed in 3 days! If that doesn’t seem like much, take a look at the work:

Precious resources are wasted, or misused when we don’t do our part to keep our earth running like a well-oiled machine. And know exactly how important the role of maintaining, repairing, replacing parts of our infrastructure are. You are definitely right! Nice one!
