Sustainability Superstar: Pat Beaumont

Patricia Beaumont is the Director of Support Operations within Facilities and Services. With nearly everything she does, Pat demonstrates how small changes can have a big impact over time. She regularly uses a reusable water bottle, takes the stairs, and opts for revolving doors whenever possible.

Pat also focuses on the fitness aspects when it comes to making sustainable choices. For example, while in England, Pat and her husband made their way to a golf course and walked all 18 holes before heading back to town and taking the train to London (that’s more than 12 miles walked in one day, part of it with golf clubs in tow). Throughout their sojourn, the couple deliberately took public transportation and walked whenever possible. Pat’s choices might seem small, but they ultimately have positive effects on both her health and on the environment.
