RecycleMania is off to an excellent start! EcoReps started the exciting 8 weeks with a Kickoff Party in Hirst Lounge. There were a few different fun activities, including trivia, making stress balls out of balloons, and a chance to take the GoGreen Pledge. Students stopping by enjoyed the music and the chance to win small prizes. One lucky student won the raffle, taking home a full bag of Trader Joe’s goodies.
This upcoming week’s theme is Recycling, and Facilities Team Green will be tabling on Wednesday from 11-2, as well as hosting the Game Day Challenge on Friday, February 13th. At both the men’s and women’s basketball games there will be zero waste stations to encourage minimizing waste. Come cheer on the teams and support RecycleMania! The women’s game is at 6pm and the men’s game is at 8pm.
