We are kicking off our summer colloquium series!

With free pizza, of course.

On Tuesday, June 21st, the UR SPIE student chapter will be kicking off its annual Summer Colloquium series. The first talk of the series has been jointly organized by SPIE and the new student group “Students for Science Advocacy”.

When: Tuesday, June 21, 12pm
Where: B&L 109

Prof. Duncan Moore will discuss the role of a PhD Engineer in the US Senate and White House in the Office of Science and Technology, how to get involved and what is expected of someone in this position.

We look forward to seeing you there! And remember, if you would like to give talk as part of our summer series, you can reach us at urspie@gmail.com. The top two speakers from the series will be awarded with prizes!
