Summer colloquium seeking speakers!

It’s that time of the year again! The UR SPIE is gearing up for the Summer Student Colloquium Series!

On Tuesdays throughout the summer, beginning June 21st, we will be having a lunch-hour colloquium series during which one or two students can present their research to their peers. We welcome students in all departments working with light-related technology to present!

Colloquium speakers will have the experience of giving a talk to fellow students and gain insight and feedback on their work. You can even use this as a venue to practice a talk you plan to give at an upcoming conference. In addition, there will be prizes awarded to the top two speakers at the SPIE General Interest Meeting in September!
