On August 21st the SPIE chapter welcomed enthusiastic crowd of students, teachers and more in the engineering quad in front of Goergen Hall to observe the solar eclipse. Rochester didn’t disappoint and delivered it’s signature gloomy early fall weather. Despite of the cloud coverage though, the event was a joy for professionals and hobbyists alike.
