My housemate and I are two PhD students at UoR and currently looking for a third housemate to share a three bedroom house with us starting August 1st. The house is a walking distance to UR and has a parking space. The room is furnished. Laundry in the basement. No pets. No smoking. Rent is 485. Utilities and wifi not included. The house is always very clean and quiet. Bathrooms are sanitized regularly (even before covid-19).
We prefer our third housemate to be clean and friendly female grad student or a young professional.

Greetings! I am a second-year PhD student in the University of Rochester. I am looking for a female roommate to share a two-bedroom townhouse apartment in Whipple Park. Since this apartment is a university apartment, my prospective roommate needs to be a University of Rochester (UoR) graduate student, a UoR postdoctoral researcher, or a Strong Memorial Hospital resident. The rent is $555 (which has covered heating, hot water, internet, the use of laundry facilities in the basement, basic cleaning supplies, and parking) + electricity cost (which depends on use, and is determined according to bills from the local electric company RG&E). There is also a security deposit of $555, which will be fully refunded if no damage is incurred. Is anyone looking for a female roommate for the 2018-2019 academic year? I’m an incoming first-year graduate student in the biology department and am trying to find housing (on-campus, or off-campus in the white coat ghetto, south wedge, or other neighborhoods close to the River Campus.)
As a housemate, I am on the relaxed end – not super-tidy, but I’m good about common spaces. I’m pretty quiet (no loud music or anything) and I like to read and knit in my spare time. I don’t have any pets, but tend to get along well with animals.
