Best Thing About UR? Best thing About the City of Rochester?

“The best thing about UR is the Athletic facilities. The best thing about the City is the Strong Museum of Play.”

“We both wanted to get more involved in our community and meet more of our neighbors.”

“The 2017-18 academic year will be our second year in this role.”

What are we Studying?

“I (Jill) just completed my Masters of English Literature at UR and
Holden will be starting his third year as a medical student.”

Favorite Community Events?

“I (Jill) really enjoy the fruit picking events we do in the late summer and Holden is a big fan of the Fall Festival.”

Best Thing About UR? Best thing About the City of Rochester?

“One of the best things about UR is the diverse student body and their contributions to science. Some of the best things about the City of Rochester is the Public Market (Jill) and Buffalo Chicken wings (Holden).”

“We anticipate being able to give back the joy and happiness we have experienced in WPK to the graduate community residents.”

“This is our first year in the position and we are very excited.”

What Are we Studying?

“Currently, I (Chutikarn) am a 4th year Ph.D. student at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). Wanaruk is looking to pursue his Ph.D. at The University of Edinburgh, UK.”

Favorite Community Events?

“Some of our favorite Whipple Park events have been the Summer Olympics, ice skating, and all the food events.”

Best Thing About UR? Best thing About the City of Rochester?

“One of the best things about UR is the punctual shuttle service along with the supportive staff. In general, a couple our favorite things about the City of
Rochester is it is a great place for education and raise a family.”
