I thought I’d share some information with you about credit cards. Many of us are Int’l students and so we are unfamiliar with the credit card system here in the United States. I found a pretty informative website that could get you familiar with what you need to be aware of before applying for a credit card. Please see the link below. I would just add that two things will affect your credit score negatively that are not on the list 1) cancelling a credit card (you want to avoid this as much as possible); 2) Using more than half the credit card value and not repaying it on time.
