Binders Reused to Help Local Schools

While sorting through old plans, the Project and Planning Management group ended up with a large number of binders they no longer need. Now that plans have gone largely electronic, paper and binders are being saved from future use. But wanting to do the right thing and not simply throw away the approximately 100 binders collected, assistant Julie Kowalchuk reached out to find if there were any reuse opportunities. Luckily we will able to find a local outlet to benefit schools in the Rochester Rochester area. The Pencils & Paper program helps meet a critical need in our community by providing teachers at high poverty schools the opportunity to shop for supplies for students at no cost. We were happy to make our donation and thrilled to receive a copy of the following letter from the organization:
