If you don’t have plans for the summer yet, it might not be too late. There are a few websites that you can explore to find something sustainable for the summer. There are many volunteer opportunities and internships available both locally and abroad, but, because I’m obsessed with travel, I’m only going to tell you about some of the ones abroad for now. Volunteering abroad is a great way to gain experience while also making an impact. Here’s a short list of websites that will do some of the work for you when looking for a good program.

1. Go Eco

Notable volunteer opportunities include:

• Zimbabwe – African Wildlife Orphanage
• Madagascar – Diving and Marine Research
• Thailand – Elephant Rescue and Conservation

2. Go Abroad

Notable volunteer opportunities include:

• Maldives – Sea Turtle Conservation
• South Africa – The Big 5 Wildlife Reserve

• Seychelles – Wildlife Conservation Expedition

3. International Volunteer HQ

Notable volunteer opportunities include:

• Bali – Environmental Education
• Guatemala – Eco-Agriculture Conservation

• Italy – Environmental Support
