The 10th Annual Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference is being held on March 30 & 31, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore on the Inner Harbor, Maryland. The University of Maryland is sponsoring a limited number of student scholarships to attend the conference.

We are now accepting applications from college students interested in receiving a complimentary registration to attend the conference.

Instructions: To receive a scholarship, all students must be currently enrolled full-time in a undergraduate or graduate program and must submit a resume and explain in a cover letter (not to exceed 300 words) how the conference relates to your course of study and your future career. All resumes must be current, and include the applicant’s major, GPA, the home and school address, phone number and email address. Resumes and cover letters must be sent electronically to the email address below and include the subject line, “SSCC2015 Student Scholarship.”

The scholarship will include:

  • Conference registration fee.
  • Attendance at all conference sessions, including the opening reception (Does not include pre- and post-conference workshops).
  • Meals provided during the event.

The scholarship will not provide for travel, housing or non-conference meals.

NOTE: All applications must be received by Friday, October 24, 2014. Reviews will be conducted following the closing date. Notifications will be made by Friday, November 21, 2014.
