Clay’s Corner

Judy ClayColleges are much more than learning institutions. A well-kept, maintained, pleasant, and sustainable campus environment contribute to the mental well-being of all who live, work and even play here. We are here not just for students, faculty, patients, healthcare providers and other staff. A campus is part of the community it inhabits. Our universities are welcoming places for everyone. You don’t pay an admission fee to wander our beautiful surroundings. The hard work performed by Facilities staff are for the enjoyment of everyone. It is delightful to see our neighbors walking their pets, jogging or just sitting under a tree with a favorite book. We are here for all. In tough economic times, states such as New York have had to close parks and other recretaional areas. If you live near a college campus take heart in knowing we never close. When you walk our grounds and take splendor in all that nature gives us, give a tip of the hat to your local college/university. We love having you.
