Clay’s Corner

Judy ClaySpring is upon us here in the Northeastern part of the country! Rochester, NY may see 80 today. Some (well, a lot actually) of us may find it hard to concentrate at work or go to class. Not to worry, this time of year is terrific for our well-being and a kick-butt attitude adjuster.

The simple task of opening windows and feeling that wonderful breeze through our homes is a reminder of what Mother Nature gives us and not only appreciate this but take the time to remember our fragile world and to take care of it.

April brings us Earth Day. Forty years ago people gathered together in a celebration of this amazing planet. Each year Earth Day challenges us to carry that message and take responsibility for our actions. Student groups and supporters will be planning and hosting events around Earth Day.  Stop by the quad on Saturday, April 17 and say “Hi”.
