Clay’s Corner

Judy ClayWelcome back! While you were enjoying your spring break, we were doing a bit of spring cleaning. We’ve now officially changed our name from Green Notes to The Green Dandelion. Excited, aren’t you? Maybe ‘excited’ is a stretch, but we don’t get out as much as we used to.

Why The Green Dandelion? For those of you not with the wonderful University of Rochester, the dandelion is the University’s flower. It’s been that way for over 150 years. Even though dandelions are known for their bright yellow color, we thought a green dandelion sums up nicely what we are about: supporting the University by promoting a sustainable environment through recycling, reducing and reusing our resources as well as energy management and letting you know something about the Facilities world.  So, we changed our name, but not our mission. Like the name? Don’t like? Let us know.

Once again, welcome back. Sorry we didn’t clean your room for you. Now write that term paper, the semester is almost over!
