About The Trek
Whiteface is the fifth highest peak in the Adirondacks, at 4867 feet above sea level. On a clear enough day, someone at the summit could see Montreal, and the White mountains in Vermont! Once we arrive, Iain and Chloe will lead six trekees up the Wilmington trail that starts at Whiteface Landing to the summit. To cool off afterwards, we can go for a swim at the campsite! Whether this is your first high peak, or your 46th, this will be a great time!

Trek Leaders

What’s up trekees, my name is Iain Speece. I live in Cleveland, and I plan on being a junior this year. I like the outdoors sometimes, and doing things in it like hiking, teaching snowboarding, and remembering to drink plenty of water. I’m leading Whiteface this year, so hopefully you’re on it! I met some of my very favorite people in the whole world on URFoot my freshman year, and I bet you will too.
Looking forward to meeting all of you,
Iain “I Will Eat That Whole Jar of Salsa” Speece

Hey I’m (Captain) Chloe and I’m from Belgrade, Maine. I’m a sophomore and an International Relations major. Growing up in Maine I had the opportunity to hike the last 100 miles of Appalachian trail. I love being outside and am so excited to be leading Whiteface! Can’t wait to meet you all in August!!
