Today Facilities Team Green and Dining Team Green paired up to hold our awesome study break. We decorated reusable mugs (hope you got yours) and sipped on some much-needed coffee. Here’s some great ways to get the most benefit out of your reusable mug:
- Use it to get you discounts. There are on campus discounts on coffee and tea, as well as punch cards that you can get at Starbucks, Connections, and Peet’s so you can get sweet treats when you BYOM (Bring Your Own Mug).
- Use them to get you likes on Insta. Go on, use that adorable mug that you decorated to get some likes. Take some “mug shots” with friends and let the world know how cozy you are.
- Use it to save the planet. This is a no-brainer. Instead of using paper or plastic cups that will end up in a landfill or at best recycled, use a reusable one.
- Use it as a gift. Don’t know what to get your roommate or mom or that one guy you barely know in the gift exchange? Get them a cute mug and make it as personal as you can. It’s super inexpensive (they actually sell really cute mugs at the dollar store) and it can put a really nice touch on an easy gift.
