If you miss the debate, or know you won’t be able to watch it when it airs, numerous websites will have the footage available for viewing after the completion of the event including PBS. The debate is the first in a series before the election in November. Be sure to check out articles, critiques, and commentary about the debate after you watch it in case you missed anything, or simply to see who the professionals thought did a better job. Most importantly, read the candidates’ platforms! The platforms address vital issues (like climate change!!). Trump’s platform can be found here and Clinton’s platform can be found here. Don’t forget to register to vote or apply for a mail-in ballot if you are a student living out of state.
