Paper towels are a necessary item to use when a restroom does not have an electric hand dryer. Before seeing this Ted Talk, I always used two paper towels. But by following this simple hint – I have found one towel does the trick.
What is the simple hint? Shake water off of your hands (three shakes works fine) and then fold the towel in half before you use it.
It works!
I calculated that I use the restroom at work an average of 400 times per year. The savings for me alone is one towel roll per year. Just imagine if everyone followed the same process. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you!
