Lab opening January 2015:

The Larracuente lab will officially open at the University of Rochester Department of Biology in January 2015. We use computational, population genomic, cytological and molecular methods to study the evolution of selfish DNA in genomes.

Available positions:

  • The Larracuente lab is recruiting a postdoc in evolutionary genomics.
  • Prospective graduate students interested in joining the lab should contact Amanda Larracuente at and apply to the University of Rochester graduate program in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology through the Department of Biology PhD program.
  • Undergraduates interested in working with Drosophila should contact Amanda Larracuente at to discuss opportunities in the lab.
