UR IEEE will be having a general interest meeting this Thursday, Sept. 17th at 6PM in the Ruth Merril Center in Wilson Commons. All who are interested should attend!
Hey everyone. The T-Shirts have been ordered and have an expected delivery date of around April 29th. I will be emailing everyone with a time and place that you can pay.
I hope all of your semesters end well and hope you all do well on exams.
On a different note. IEEE will be organizing an event that is usually organized by the ECE Department. We will be organizing a department picnic for the ECE Department. All undergrads and graduate students are welcome! The picnic will be the first wednesday of classes in the Fall ‘09 semester! We hope to see you there !

We are looking forward to this year and have many things planned for all IEEE members and ECE Students !
The T-Shirts that we ordered last semester have arrived! They will be available in grey/heather and dark blue, and the graphic below is what the back of the shirt looks like. Prices are $5 for IEEE members and $10 for nonmembers.
We will be setting up a day where you can come pay for and pick up your shirt very soon. If you pre-ordered, your shirt has been reserved. If you didn’t pre-order, we’ve ordered a few extra and you can probably still have one in the color and size of your choice.
The IEEE competed in ASME’s annual pumpkin launch competition to regain their former glory. The team spent the month acquainting themselves with the finer art of carpentry in order to construct the trebuchet pictured below. Several respectable launches followed.
