50 States, 50 Marathons, 1 Great Cause

Rick 1Golisano Children’s Hospital wishes our friend and supporter, Rick Crawshaw the best of luck as he prepares to run his 50th marathon in Hawaii Jan. 19.

Rick has spent the past 12 years running one marathon in each state, and after more than 12,000 miles Rick is closing in on his 50th race. To make this final race truly special Rick has dedicated it to the memory of his son, Mark, who tragically passed away in 2006. Rick has supported children’s hospitals while running other marathons and he thought his final run would be the perfect opportunity to support his local hospital. In honor of Mark’s memory Rick is committed to raising $20,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital in order to completely outfit a patient classroom in our new facility.

Rick 2Rick’s story is an inspiration and we are honored by his choice to support our efforts to bring the best quality care to our patients. Please consider helping Rick reach his goal by clicking here to make a donation towards his efforts.
