New Children’s Hospital Rises in Rochester

GCH rises
The last pieces of structural steel are now in place on the new Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center. We celebrated with patients last week by opening up the site a little to let them decorate a beam. This week, our dedicated construction workers, who eagerly watched those patients decorate a beam, got their own chance to leave a mark on the hospital they are working so hard to build.

Also, to celebrate, we grabbed time lapse photos collected from the top of Wilmot Cancer Center since the steel arrived on site and put together a video with some fun music to show the incredible progress over the past year since the construction began.
