The Susan B. Anthony Institute is proud kick off Women’s History Month 2011 with the long-anticipated launch of our first blog! While we will still be updating and using our University of Rochester-based website and sending announcements out through our various mailing lists, this blog will serve to keep those connected with us more up-to-date on events, application deadlines, and developing SBAI news.
In launching the SBAI Blog, we also hope to create more connections with not only the UR community, but the Greater Rochester community as well. If you have any gender or women’s studies relate
d events happening in the area, please email us at sbai@rochester.edu. Gender & Women’s Studies conference announcements that may be applicable to our undergraduate or graduate student populations are also welcome.
Since this Women’s History Month is set to be filled with many activities both on- and off-campus, the SBAI Blog will be updated every business day throughout the month of March. So please check back in regularly! Upcoming posts will include information about our “Herstory: Inspiration in Film” series and an International Women’s Day events calendar.
