Happy new year from all of us at SBAI. We hope that everyone had a joyful (and restful) holiday! Here at the office we are back at work planning for an event filled spring semester. There are many things in store, including the (en)Gendered juried art show, a soon-to-be-announced photography competition, the World of Susan B. Anthony series (with support from the Humanities Project), our popular International Women’s Day field trip, Women’s History Month festivities and films, the International Graduate Student Research Conference in Gender and Women’s Studies, and LGBTQI Awareness Month (with generous support from the LGBT Fund of Greater Rochester).
We will be updating the online calendar all week, so make sure to check back often. We are currently compiling news for SBAI’s semiannual For Your Information newsletter; SBAI affiliated students, faculty, and alumnae (and alumni) should make sure to send professional and personal updates to kaitlin.legg@rochester.edu by January 16.
