Always Working Student Show
It is amazing what a collective of creative minds can produce. The staff of the Creative Workshop is very happy to present the Always Working Student Show in the Lucy Burne Gallery on view until November 27. Always Working is an impressive, engaging, and inspiring collection of work by intermediate and advanced Creative Workshop students. Seeing how all of these artists’ works come together in one space is magical. Connections can be drawn amidst the various visions, techniques, and styles of these artists.

Painters such as Rolla Totten and Angela Bonazinga beautifully articulate an exploration of space and landscape.

Craig Schutte, "Ode to Stuart Davis #7"
John May, Bill Keyser, and Craig Schutte’s paintings unify powerful shapes, lines, and colors.
Domenica Gruschow and Eileen Joy express moments and emotion through natural forms.
On the pedestals and in the display case, we invite you to explore the student’s beautiful and inventive works in pottery, sculpture, jewelry and textiles. Enjoy Shirley Kelley’s dynamic synchronization of organic shapes and texture. See how Patricia Worrad uses fiber clay to envision the face of seventeenth century dramatist Cyrano. And enjoy Carol LeBarron’s charming and robust necklace.
There are so many more artists’ works to see in the Always Working Student Show, this can only be just a teaser. The skill, vision, and inventiveness of these artists are stunning and incredibly vast. We invite you to take a visit to the Burne Gallery to spend some time with this inspiring exhibition. We encourage you to come and see these connections for yourself! Call 276-8959 for the hours that the Creative Workshop and Gallery are open.
