Something for Everybody; Shop 2014 Art & Treasures Sale – June 12-15
Submitted by Lois Sumberg, Gallery Council Member
I was poking around our boxes of donated stuff last week to see what special treasures there were for the Art & Treasures Sale. Can you tell I can’t wait until we unpack it all?
Lo and behold I found a darling Carol Battle limited edition print of a cat napping on a wicker chair.
Another box revealed a collection of ceramic Fitz and Floyd Charming Tails collectibles. I was especially charmed by the skunk chasing a butterfly and the squirrels picnicking on apples.
Moving on, I came across six, old silver butter knifes from Wm. Rogers and Son. A little polishing and they are gleaming. My last find was a Laura Dunn figurine straight from England.
What can I say? There is something for everybody at this sale. Please come join us for some fun shopping!
